Contacted DSDI for wholesale account. I had seen a FEW products and wanted more information and pricing etc. I could not get any info unless I signed -up (free). After I signed up, trying to get hold of these guys was next to impossible. Finally I spoke with "Gerry" who is apparently the mother of all customer service people!

I tried to ask how to get this info he was very impatient, said do this, this and this. And was there anything else-I did not understand what he told me in the first place! After asking several times and not getting help-I said "thank you" and hung up.

Waited a week or so called back got this Gerry guy again. Asked my questions which he sort of answered-then he said I remember you- you hung up on me. I said maybe I did and started to ask my questions--he said" you should close this account" and hung up (payback).

When I called a month later to officially close the account--the guy who answered was very rude. I said I need to close an account--first he said there was no account-I said Gerry must have closed it--he said here it is; I said close it and I started to say why and he hung-up on me!

During the month of no contact I did some more research. I found that discounts on items over $1,000 were 5%, some lesser priced items were discounted at 25-35%. After comparing same items at other wholesalers I decided I did not need these guys. Further dealing with them was going to be a problem

Ill-Founded and Inaccurate Defamation

This individual who previously registered with our company began to criticize our organization via telephone when speaking with one of our employees. While our company is willing to accept criticism, her comments were both flagrant and ill-founded on both incidents when communicating with us. She proceeded to explain how difficult the registration process was with our company, and how our expectations for new accounts was unrealistic. She later explained how disappointing prices were and how she had no need for our organization. Not only are her accusations about wholesale pricing inaccurate, but also grounds for defamation (ie false and misleading). DSDI offers factory-direct dealer pricing on the majority of its inventory. During the first incident with this individual, we explained how we were more than happy to close her account and while explaining our position, she hung up the telephone in mid-conversation. Since then, DSDI has flagged this individual and company as someone we would not be willing to build a reseller relationship with. We do our best to serve the B2B reseller marketplace and have no interest in communicating with flagrant, ill-spoken individuals such as this. In no way or circumstance did DSDI "rip off" this individual. Instead, her sole desire is to damage the excellent reputation of our firm within the wholesale dropship marketplace. We are confident that RipoffReport readers will examine this article based on its merit. Is it the politically correct requirement of an organization to build business relationships with negative individuals? If so, consider us politically incorrect. :) Thanks and have a great day!
