Duimelotje Dog Bakery, John & Jill Maki PUPPY MILL, MIXED BREEDS SOLD AS PURE BREED, LIED ABOUT REGISTRATION PAPERS, RIPOFF Creston Ohio
I purchased a yorkie puppy back in March of this year and made the fatal mistake of trusting the breeder. As it turns out the pup is not full Yorkie, I never received his papers which I was told over and over were "on their way" then I was told that the AKC had put the wrong parents on the papers, then it was because her mother was sick. I had originally purchased the pup to breed him but since he was such a bad example of the breed if he was a yorkie at all I had to have him neutered.
After being told that they would make things right all I asked was that they help pay at least part of the fee to have him neutered but they continued to ignore me. I have filed a complaint with the BBB, contacted a lawyer and will be reporting them to an agency that investigates kennels.
The BBB has tried to contact them but they have not received any response either. I thought maybe they had shut the business down so I went to their website and used a friends email to request information on one of their products to my surprise they responded in a matter of minutes.
This couple is capable of making you feel like they are worthy of your trust but in reality they are nothing more than a puppy mill breeding simply for profit without concern for the dogs or the people who buy them.
With the type of people they are I can't even imagine what they use in their dog products! I would NEVER buy anything on their site!
They also have a kennel in MD but I don't know the name of it, if you are looking to buy a puppy in MD be sure to ask if they know the Maki's before you do!!!

The Maki's responded to the BBB saying that never promised me registration papers, that I waited 6 months to contact them and that the reason I did was because I wasnt happy with the puppy because of his under bite. I in turn sent the BBB all the e-mail's exchanged between the Maki's and myself where they stated that the papers needed to be returned because the information wasn't correct along with other emails proving they had lied not only to me but to the BBB. Then the following day I received their response to the Ohio Attorney General which was the COMPLETE OPPOSITE of everything they had said to the BBB, in this response they stated that they HAD sent the registration papers to me right after I purchased him. They also stated in their response to the BBB that they were no longer breeding, then after seeing my response saying that we loved the puppy no matter what was wrong with him they told the Ohio Attorney Generals office that they would consider replacing the puppy,knowing that after having him for 6 months we would NEVER consider doing that. My question is how were they going to replace him if they aren't breeding anymore like they told the BBB? They lie so much they can't keep them straight! The good news is that they shut down their website! The accused me of "harassing" them, which I didn't, saying that they had to shut it down because they weren't sure which were real orders and which were sent by my friends! I NEVER ordered anything from them nor did any of my friends, I simply sent an email from a friends email account requesting information on one of their products simply to see if they would respond, which they did in a matter of moments. I don't know who was "harassing" them but I would love to find out so I could THANK THEM! They continue to do business on many different sites. When ever I locate them selling online I post a msg telling people to stay away! Just wanted to update everyone, thanks for listening and if anyone from this site happens to be the one that is "harassing" them.... THANK YOU!!!!
