DVD DONKEY THIEVES I SAY! THIEVES! They took my money and jumped ship! INTERNET
I ordered the complete series of "The Wonder Years" on DVD from dvddonkey.com for $60. I thought it was a great deal. I even thought it may be bootleg but I didn't care. I knew the studios hadn't gotten the rights to release this series on dvd yet, since I work in the industry. So, I went ahead and made the purchase even with my suspicion.
Now I feel like a moron. I wasted $80 bucks including the shipping! I even spoke with someone on the phone and exchanged emails with another character. When they finally told me it was being shipped it was a month after I had made the purchase (I made the purchase on Dec 19 2007). it's now Jan 30 and I have nothing to show but a false tracking number with the Canada Post. I'm in the tank.
if anyone else reads this...let's continue the charge to bust these con-artists. I sent them one final email today and called. the phone service sounded different so I think we may be getting to them. If anyone knows of any other fraudulent dvd sales sites let me know....
