Dvdplanet Aka Dvddonkey, tvmilk, tvaddicts awful scam artist - they got me under 2 different companies Internet
i was also ripped off by dvdplanet - i ordered a dvd set for 44.00 in dec 2007 & was charged rite away - the end of dec i emailed them asking where the dvd was & they emailed rite back & sed they had supplier problems & will resend my dvd asap - well asap went by & no dvd so on 1/5/08 i went to email them & saw that their site was temp out of service so i quickly emailed them & asked for my refund - they emailed me rite back & sed we will refund u asap...well thinking all was legit i waited & when there was no refund the end of jan i thought no big sometimes refunds take 2 billing cycles so i waited & then on the week of 2/14/08 i received a statement about some dvds i purchased on 1/7/08 (i reordered my dvd set with another company when i found out dvdplanet couldnt help me - u guessed it i went thru dvddonkey thinking oh good i'll get my dvds - i know stupid me ) & only to find something wasnt right (i filed a report with ripoff on this issue on 2/20/08 under tvmilk & for some reason it sez dvdplanet instead of dvddonkey in the title - i guess im was so angry all the titles were a blur LOL) - anyway while investing on the computer i found that dvdplanet was part of the scam organization soooooo i quickly called my other credit card company for the dvdplanet order & filed a dispute , closed out my card & got a new # , filed report with BBB. filed fbi report & also put a fraud alert on all my cards... so as much as i wanted the friday the 13th tv series dvd set i will have to wait til movies unlimited or critics choice sells it - then i'll know its legit... i did email the company on 2/23/08 (shocking it was working) & i actually got a reply on 2/24 saying they will refund me in the next week...we'll see....i'll do an update when it happens.... be safe everyone & report report everywhere u can

hi there....well i cant believe it i actually got a refund.....on 2/23/08 i was able to finally get thru on their contact page & sent an email about the refund & on 2/24/08 they replyed saying i will get my refund within the next week...................and i called my credit card company today 2/28/08 & I GOT THE FULL REFUND - YEAH!!!! so all is good on this refund............but still working on the refund with the other card & of coarse under their other alias's good luck to everyone & keep being persistent - it usually pays off :)
