Let me start out by saying that I still work for Wachovia bank it is a great company for the most part but I can no longer sit by and watch Dwayne Colman and his boss Joe Tedesco churn good men and women in and out of the Wachovia south central region.
I started out like many Wachovia Bank Financial Specialist as they are called, several weeks or training but know almost two years later and working in a new region. I see this Financial Specialist position for what is and for what Dwayne Coleman is, the operation is a sweatshop.
I am a top producer with over $200,000 each month easy in loans booked in the system we call Pegasus and $66,000 in deposits. My numbers dropped for two month after being moved to one of the worst producing regions known and under the WORST area managers known in the Atlanta market DWAYNE COLEMAN.
This guy would take the members of his team out to dinner at some place like Buffalo's or Friday's give us the at a boy speech come back the next day and write up anyone that was off on there numbers for the month. With the blessings of his boss Joe Tesecio, I recall he fired one female Financial Specialist a while back after I came out of training this lady was on fire she had a two bad months he gets rid of her.
After telling her that he would give her a referral and to call him she did, Dwayne Coleman of NORTH HENRY FINANCIAL CENTER 5490 N HENRY BLVD would not return the woman's call at all, a more recent incident after I got my transfer was when half of Dwayne Coleman's region was chopped up and given to a more competent sales leader including the Greenbrier Mall location of Atlanta. Dwayne Colman lost over 50% of his branches because rather than coach his workers he fires them at the drop of a hat.
There was another incident I had a $500,000 loan application that I took and booked it in the system another Wachovia Financial Specialist in the College Park, Georgia area removed my information from the electronic application. Did Dwayne Coleman step up and speak with the area manager of that Financial Specialist after I tried several times to rectify this matter?
NO! He told me that I needed to contact the Sales Leader for that Financial Specialist and work it out? If you work in sales like I do can you imagine your own boss not going to bat for you over a $500,000 loan that you and he are going to get paid up to 15% off of? This is not the type of person you want to work for at Wachovia in Atlanta Georgia.
I say this to anyone that wants to work at Wachovia as a Financial Specialist great! I say to anyone that ends up in his district run like hell and ask human resources for a transfer as soon as you can.
