Dwight Wilson, Dishonest And Greedy Filed a fraudulent complaint with the BBB after we gave him a refund and free services ripoff El Paso Texas
Dwight Wilson hired our firm in 2004, we were hired to do his divorce. We paid the court costs and service fees for him thereby giving him a considerable discount. He couldn't make up his mind whether or not he wanted to go through with the divorce so the case was dismissed. We notified him in June, 2005 of the dismissal and asked him if he wanted us to save the case he said he wanted it dismissed because he was reconciling with his wife.
The case was dismissed in July, 2005. In October, 2005, he came to us and complained that he was not divorced yet, we reminded him of the dismissal and that if he wanted to file again, he would need to pay us to start it all over again. He asked if we would pay all the costs and service fees for him like before. We informed him yes but he would need to pay the $500.00 retainer fee and make timely payments to his account. He claimed he would bring us the retainer.
In December, 2005, he came back and started ranting that he was not divorced and wanted to know why. We informed him yet again that we needed the retainer fee in order to file his divorce. He was upset that we did not just file it. We told him if he was not happy with our representation then he was free to find another attorney. Then he contacted our office in Jan 2006 and demanded a refund of the fees he had paid ($800.00 total) I told him according to his employment contract, refunds were not given unless agreed to by the attorney.
After discussing the matter with the attorney, Mr. Wilson was then given a $400.00 refund. After receiving his money, he then said he heard the attorney had cancer and that he hoped the attorney would die and at least write him into his will. As an added insult to injury, Mr. Wilson then contacted the BBB and filed a complaint against the firm.
To anyone reading this, if you come upon a man named Dwight Wilson, walk the other way. He is nothing but a shameless, lying, wishy washy greedy good for nothing toad.
