East Valley Consulting - Gareth Roberts GDR & Associates SCAM!!! Doesn't pay!!! Creepy Guy!!! Scottsdale, Arizona
This creep Gareth Roberts lists jobs at "East Valley Consulting" as paid internships. The job is not a paid internship, nor do you make any money working for them. They are a scam and I will tell you why.
East Valley Consulting is nothing but a company that office supplies for a larger company, I believe they're called Quill. They will advertise their company for just about any field, and hide the truth from you until it is time for the interview.
So once you come in for the interview, you find out that the job comes with no guaranteed pay and that you have to pay for your own gas while driving business to business! Gareth brainwashes his employees into thinking the job is a good opportunity, and that he himself once did the same job they are doing.
So what is your commission? You get 28% of the first deal IF you get the person to sign up online that day and make an order. What if they don't order that day? Or what if they continue ordering? Guess what, you get none of that money. Gareth has worked it out so you only see the money from day one, and he will pocket the rest.
Gareth also offers bonuses that he never delivers on and never pays to any of his employees. There is always some excuse of why he can't make the payment.
He has early morning brainwashing sessions where he has all of the employees go through certain sales routines. This is really him turning them into his sheep while he sits at his desk and makes money off their hard work.
This company used to be called GDR & Associates until everyone figured out that was a scam too.
He also invites all of his employees on business vacations, and is really creepy around the female employees.
If I were a parent, I would have my child stay away from East Valley Consulting and Gareth Roberts.

Thank you for your report! I was just laid off from my previous job and was looking at all the online job boards to assist in my new job search. I've been applying like crazy everywhere and it's amazing at how many calls I get back from these scam companies. I couldn't find out too much about this company through Google, so I turned to Ripoff Report and saw your posting. Thanks again for the heads up and for saving me a lot of time and energy!
