Easterns Motors Auto Expo A sales Consultant stated that he could do a trade on vehicle Temple Hills Maryland
Last year i went to easterns and purchased a vehicle. i was told by the dealer that if payments were paid on time i could return a year later for a trade. i did come back a year later to trade the vehicle in. i was approved for another suv. that salesman no longer works for easterns so another sales person assisted me in this transaction. Sept 2008, i drove off the lot in a smaller truck under the impression that the trade is final.
two days later the salesman called me back to the dealership and stated that they did not want to be responsible for the suv that was traded in and that i have to come back and pick it up. i asked them over and over if this was a sure thing because i did not want to be stuck with two car notes to include two vehicles the dealer said that everything was fine.
the dealer drove the assumed trade in vehicle to a location and parked it. He also placed a 30 day tag on the vehicle which is now expired. the bank is harrasing me for the monies due.i am currently in a bind and despretly need help to resolve this issue. The sales person suggested that i wait out the three months and let the bank retrieve the vehicle and that that it would be on my credit report.
he stated that people do it all the time. I'm a widow and i have done my best to rebuild credit since my spouse died. Now to my horror this sales person is no longer at easterns. I have contact easterns corporate office and have gotten no response. I have also tried to get someone else to refinance the first vehicle to get it out of my name. no transaction ! If there is an attorney to help me with this please do. the sales personnel shoul not be allowed to mislead potential customers. Please help, i don't want my credit destroyed !
