eBates ebates higher prices with eBates Internet
Ebates advertises a rebate when you purchase via their site. Once you've accesseed eBates oon line, you choose your store or company (and you see what your rebate would be--anywhere from 2% to9 or more %); ebates then automatically takes you there.
HOWEVER: beware! The prices you see are HIGHER than the prices of the same company if you do not go through eBates!
I was about to order from Yves Rocher, which was having a sale. Right before I made the purchase, I remembered eBates. So I opened a new window, went to the eBates site, selected Yves Rocher and made my same selection again. What had been $23 was now $27; what had been $10 with Yves Rocher's own sale was, via eBates, $12. Etc. So in fact what ever rebate I would have gotten would have been cancelled out by paying a higher price in the first place!
I exited eBates and went back to purchase on the Yves Rocher site.

Ebates.com provides Cash Back when shoppers use our links to reach our partner stores. The store link is simply a link to the same store that the shopper would reach if they did not use Ebates.
We cannot find a specific case where an items costs more when the shopper uses Ebates to reach the store.
We are very interested to see an example, if one can be presented. Unfortunately, this complaint does not mention a specific item that we can check on.
