File a claim in your local small claims court. Dish Network will have to send one of its high-priced lawyers to defend the indefensible. If they are very lucky, they will "win" the case and lose hundreds of dollars for sending the lawyer. If you win, you win. If they do not send a lawyer, you will likely win a default judgment. You have a good chance of winning. Either way, Dish Network loses big and you get the satisfaction of making them pay for the way they dealt with you. Don't forget to ask for a reasonable compensation for your time in preparing the case and any other expenses that you may have incurred, including the small cost of filing the case.

Over the last three years, I have been a customer of Dish Network. The product delivered is outstanding. This company's only flaw is their customer service. The company should really do something about it. Many times I have called the customer service to discuss some aspect of my bill and gotten rude, ignorant, and totally unconcerned representatives. I have gotten agreements from the representative only to discover on my next bill, the same charge again! Over the past three years, I have noticed an increasingly "I don't care attitude" from their customer service reps. IF this company EVER fails, I am convinced that it will be substantually because of the poor customer service. Many times, if I had wanted to go back to cable....I would have cancelled my association with the Dish Network. However, I do love my Plasma TV and the problem free transmission of TV programs delivered from my Dish Network! Hopefully someone in charge at Dish Network....will read these comments and start to correct the poor culture at the customer service department. It is not unusual to have to call their customer service department at least 6-8 times per year! I would recommend the Satilite service....not the company. PAT Tucson, AZ
