Ed Rooney, this so-called auto mechanic that's supposed to be the best around, totally ripped us off. We knew when we took our Audi in some of the things that were wrong with it because we had taken it to another mechanic but was told that Ed Rooney's place was a much more reputable company. We did not tell Mr. Rooney the problems we were having because we wanted to make sure he was able to find the things we knew were wrong. He didn't find those "minor" things that were wrong but instead made a list of problems that were much more expensive to repair. When we asked him about his list, he said his second in command mechanic must have made a mistake. He took the car back in and "found" some of the things we knew to be wrong. We gave him permissio to repair these things at an agreed upon price, but in the end, the price was double what he originally quoted and he refuses to return our car until we pay the difference. Do not trust this guy .....
