On Nov. 30th, 2009 I decided to try the free sample that Mineral Elements was offering so I could compare it to Bare Minerals for my Blog. I paid $1.00 for shipping. I never recieved anything from this company. On Dec. 11th, 2009, I noticed that $130.41 had been debited from my checking account by Mineral Elements. I quickly contacted the company only to wait on hold for 3 hours!!! Finally when I got to talk to a customer service rep, they told me I was responsible for the item being lost in the mail and since it was past 10 days I would not be getting a refund! If my memory serves me right the trial was to be for 30 days and once 30 days was up I could return the product or keep it and pay $27.00 a month. On Dec. 12th, 2009 I called the company again only to be told again that I would not be issued a refund because I supposedly had the product now. This infuriated me, that these people could knowingly work for this company that they know is ripping people off. I have never ever had a problem returning anything and I have never heard of any company refusing a refund. There disclaimers and regulations are so tiny and hard to read, its understandable that one would get lost reading it. So on Dec. 14th, 2009 I finally got a correct tracking number from Mineral Elements after them giving me the wrong number 2 times, and I was able to track the package down. Once I tracked it down I refused it and sent it back to Mineral Elements. I then called them to be told that I still won't be getting a refund because I did not return it within 10 days and also because I did not have a RFA#, whatever that may be. So here I am 10 days before Christmas with a shortage of funds to provide Christmas to my son, thanks to this slimmy and illegally operating company. I am determined to get my money back. I have filed a complaint with the BBB, in hopes that they can help resolve this. And you better bet that I will not have a good review of this company for my blog.
