Educational Testing Services ETS Test cancellation fee ripoff Princeton New Jersey
If you use this company to register for the GRE, be aware and read the cancellation policy very carefully.
If you cancel the test, (no matter the reason), and even if it's within minutes of registering, they will keep half the registration fee.
I've never heard of such a ridiculous fee for , "processing your registration and then cancelling it".
My daughter registered for the GRE. Less then 20 minutes later she cancelled it. Of the $195 fee, they only refunded $97.50. Charged me $97.50 for "administrative fees".
I can't think of any company I've ever dealt with that didn't give a 100% refund if done within a certain time frame. And then maybe charge a fee if it's close to the date that services were to be rendered.
