Edwards Heating and Cooling LLC Poor Substandard Quality Work Tucson Arizona
Edwards Heating and Cooling was hired by a general Contractor to supply and install the Air Conditioning units in a brand new home. Two units were installed. One Unit was installed on the East side of the House and the other unit was installed on the West side of the House.
According to the Calculations on the Architectural Plans, the HVAC Unit that was installed on the on the East side of the House is 1-1/2 - 2 Tons lower than what was called for. There was never a test done by Tucson Electric Power, which I have an eMail from their representative to prove this, or any other company that has the ability to conduct the test to determine the amount of tonnage needed to cool the house properly.
The area where the house is located is in a higher elevation and gets colder in the Winter, Heat Strips that the HVAC Units should have had were never Installed. The HVAC Unit on the East side of the house besides being underpowered never worked properly from day one and is inoperable. The unit has a coolant leak that was never properly repaired.
The Dryer Exhaust vent installed in the Laundry room is too close to the floor and protrudes out of the ceiling in the Northeast corner of the room. The exhaust fans in the Master Bathroom Sometimes do not work.
