Electrolux refusing to pay rebates Miami florida
I bought a range, a over the range microwave and a dish washer from a local dealer for over $4500.
The dealer had a special rebate program from electrolux which amounted to $450 for two rebates .one regular rebate for $150 one DOUBLE DAY REBATE for $300. total $450.00 it says on the rebate that it will take about 30 days to get the money back.
I waited 90 days than i contacted electrolux rebates.com
First i was told that they had nothing with my name but after I told the person that I was in their web site looking a my name and what I was owed, she found , by miracle , my name and that I would recieve my rebate within 30 days. I recieved a check for $150.
i contacted them again and again they had nothing that said that i was owed $450.They asked me if i had a copy of the rebates offered and if i did they would be glad to pay. I told them I did .After a pause, she told me she would let me speak to a supervisor.He told me to send all the paperwork because they could not find them but I was told that it was in my best interest to accept an extra $150.00 not the $300 I was owed.
since then, the do not thake my calls and keep telling me to send the papers again , that they have not recieved them.I sent the paper by certified mail and i have proof that they signed for them but they again say that they must be lost.
Do not buy electrolux for the promess of a rebate ...they DO NOT honnor their promess.I will now contact the state of florida to try to get them to pay.
