Elite German Shepherds Von Fenwald Kennels Never received my AKC Papers and Cindy is just plain shady Luling Texas
I am finally writing this after many years of purchasing my best friend. He is now 9 years old and I love him with all my heart. He has been a wonderful dog with minimal issues and I am very happy with him. My issues are with Cindy and her character. When I picked up my guy from Von Fenwald, he was extremely filthy and his ears were caked with black ear wax. You would think they would have cleaned him up knowing that I was coming to purchase him.
Despite being filthy, he was handsome, but very skinny. I continued with the purchase. When I took him to my vet, she told me that he was malnourished and he had an ear mite infestation. He was not in the best shape. She asked who I got him from and suggested that I contact the breeder to let her know. When I contacted Cindy and told her the issues, she went on the offensive. Blaming the vet and even myself. It was just weird. That's when I knew that I was dealing with a crazy person.
In addition to the issues above I never received my AKC papers. I asked a few times but Cindy kept on making excuses. I continued to email with no response. Since I just got him to be a companion and wasn't showing him, I let it go. Something tells me that there were never any papers. For anyone that is looking for a reputable GSD breeder, look elsewhere and more importantly do your research. I got lucky with my dog, but many others have not. I just feel so sorry for the dogs at Elite German Shepherds. God Bless.
