Elliot Bay Auto Brokers Poor safety regards to save money Seattle Washington
Terrible. I bought a vehicle from EBA, front rotors were warped. Called them up and the told me to bring it in so that there tech could look at it. Service writer came back said that the front rotors were warped, my tech said the are turntable. can you bring the car back tomorrow to Firestone so that they could turn them. I told them I live an hour away can you send it to a shop in my home town, they said sure. So the shop in my home town mic the rotors.
The mic read 1.050 and discard is 1.102 so the shop replaced the rotor and pads. The shop called EBA and told them and the flipped out because the bill was for $359. They said they were only approved for $159 and was pissed they didn't call first. So I paid the balance called EBA to try and get compensated for the bill and got nothing. So I question the mechanics. I am going to 3 more shops and taking the old rotors to them and have them mic them to get more opinions on this matter. I will update soon.
