Emerald Card Services Home Solicitation Contract with no contract and no 3 day cancellation notice given Ripoff San Diego California
A representative of this company came to our house and we agreed to take one of their credit card machines. When they left we realized that we had received no copy of any signed contract with them, and were not given the 3 day cancellation notice which we should have been given, as it was a home solicitation contract. Therefore contract is illegal? (What contract? - we don't have one.) For a year now they have been extracting money from my husband's bank accounts. He has had to close his corporate account, much to his chagrin in order to stop any more bleeding from his account as we have not been able to cancel this monster. My husband's name is Aldo Mansilla, Mansilla & Associates. Tel: (818) 266-4278. They are bankrupting us. We do not want their "services" but have not been able to stop them.

In the state of California there is no three day cancellation business to business. The owner of the business Mansilla & Associates, Aldo Mansilla signed a contract copies of the contract were given to him at the time of the install of the equipment. At any time any customer can request copies via fax or mail. The comment of bankrupting your business because of a credit card machine doesn't make any sense. As a business owner signing a legal contract and honoring it is your responsibility. If you don't want the service, don't sign the contract. I believe your financial hardship has nothing to do with our service.
