I was perusing my credit card statement and noticed a charge for $9.99 from emusic.com. Neither I nor my husband have ever registered with, visited or heard of this website. I went further back in my statements and found that they have been charging my card for the last three months. I made contact with the company (actually talked to a real person) and am waiting to hear back. Poking around on the internet I've found several complaints from customers who've had similar problems, but it seemed that they had participated in a free trial and continued to be unknowingly charged when the trial period ended. The difference is that, like I said before I've never had any sort of contact with this website. I am very concerned; for one, how did they get my credit card information?
