My mom has serious health issues and made a bad decision in donating our horse to End Of The Line. Realizing how upset my mom was and supposedly understanding the mistake she made in giving him up, as this has deeply hurt us all, two days after her horse was taken to the lot one of the owners of End Of The Line messaged my mom, of their own accord, on Facebook , and told her there would be no problem if my mom wanted her horse back. Well, Now he supposedly has a new owner who was able to go to the lot where the horses are kept, spend a little bit of time with him and refused to return him , however after all the years my mom has donated money and out right saved horses from this lot we learned a long time ago that people do not ever get to go to this lot to see the horses they are adopting. These horses are sold like an "as is" car. The only information you have to go by is a very short inaccurate description of the horse you are homing, then you pay hundreds of dollars to adopt an animal you don't get to meet until they are brought to your property. We still do not understand how this woman was able to even enter this lot to see my moms horse when no one has ever been able to see the horses they are adopting beforehand. When the owner of EOTL messaged my mom she told her how kind and understanding this woman was and that she would have no problem with my mom reclaiming her horse. All the sudden a big dispute has arisen between this woman, the owners of EOTL and my mom.

After claiming to be so compassionate and understanding this woman, who has yet to even take this horse home, he's been sitting at the lot for 6 days now, refuses to return him. These people have even gone so far as to tell outright lies about the new "owner" of my mom's horse. My mom has even offered to pay $300 in donations to help pay the fees for the horses available on the site now to help them get homes so they don't go to slaughter and I have even offered to pay the woman a few hundred dollars to let us bring him back home, however they have still refused to let us bring him home, even though he is still, almost a week later, being held at the lot and not been homed. This horse is everything to my mom and with all her health issues he has been a great therapy for her. In a weak moment she made a mistake in donating him because of her worries about her own health and fixed income. However we have found ways to make this work.

Now the EOTL owners and this woman have went back on their word and refuse to let us bring him home. Also many of these horses are thin and sick. We have adopted quite a few that needed immediate vet care which costs an additional hundreds of dollars. When these horses are sick they are never advertised as so. My family and I are still struggling and willing to do anything to get him back from this lot , however after being repeatedly told how it would not be a problem at all for us to get him back and how "understanding" these people were and despite hundreds of dollars we have offered to this woman for any inconvenience and towards donations to the horses available on the site now these people have refused to work with us despite all the hope they promised her in the beginning. And again, End of the Line is set up to help save these horses from slaughter but my mom's horse is still being held there and they have refused the $300 donation towards the horses that are in danger of going to slaughter. What kind of business is this??!!
