Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I bought the LabelWriter 450 Twin Turbo 2-3 years ago and used with their stamp labels to print stamps, but labels are rediculously expensive, so I used generics successfully for 2 years.  Now they suddenly require an activation code to print stamps which means that you can only do so using an activation code found on their expensive labels.  They claim they need more income for software updates.  They claim they have the right to do this because it is in their disclaimer (fine print).  This issue will be settled in court, but in the meantime DO Not give them your business without fully researching their game, and assume that they will likely bait and switch again if in their interest.

Read their response here before you give them business: http://www.endicia.com/activationcode

Don't do business with Endicia.  They are terrible.

This "suggestion" from Ken is useless and obviously he believes stupidly that false advertising has something to do with politics.  (What an arrogant idiot.)

Quite simply, if Endicia is advertising a service for "free" plus postage, then requiring customers to buy their overpriced stamps with an insane mark-up, then enforcing that with the activation code, then it is not a free service.  It doesn't matter what the rules are.  That is false advertising.

I would never continue to patronize your business.  I don't mind paying for a good service, but I do not like to be tricked.   Stamps.com charges $15.99 per month, and I don't have to buy their printer.  They clearly tell their customers what to expect.  I bought your printer and found out your scam only after reading the fine print buried in the packaging.  Very poor form on your part!  Your karma will catch up with you.

 It's as simple as that.

If there are many like you, the service will revert to the monthly charge. Your failure to abide by the "free" plan rules will likely get the plan witdrawn and everyone will pay at least $15.99/month.  Sounds like you're a member of the Democratic Socialist party.

Please explain how, exactly, "this will be solved in court?"  You're a real dreamer aren't you?

Gotta love you "I want MINE for free" liberals. Let is know how your efforts to resolve this in court work out.  GRIN.
