My daughter who is 18 went out to buy a car with a friend without me (1st mistake). She found a car at ENDLESS AUTO in Cocoa. Spoke to a sales man who showed her a Toyota Pruis 2001 Hybrid (2nd mistake). He said the car came in the night before , he did not check it out yet but the car is in great order nothing wrong with it. (3rd Mistake). He told my Ex wife the car is perfect and he would definately let his own daughter have that car if she needed one. My daughter saved $2400 over 2 years while she was at school and working as a life guard. Paid for the car, license and insurance. This was November 2017. In December the engine lights, brake light would come on periodically. At times trying to give the car gas, it would not go, she had to turn the car off and on a few times then the car would respond.
Tires are really bad and the breaks are shot. I called and a guy by the name of Justin answered and I explained what was going on. He said he would check the paperwork and call me back immediately, well that never happened so I drove there. Took one look at the place and realized (Mistake #4) walked in with my daughter and the original saleman was sitting in a very dirty office. I told him he sold my daughter a car that has endless problems and he passed the buck by saying go see that girl in the office. He wanted no part of the deal now. I explained the situation again and immediately knew nothing was going to be done aboit the situation. The saleman now decide to put in his 2 cents by saying the car was perfect when they had it from the day before, I asked how did he know the car was perfect if he did not have his mechanic check the car out before they sold it.
His answer was (ARE YOUR READY FOR THIS ONE) "Well when we drove it down the road the car did not shake." Wow are you kidding me, is that how cars are tested now days? By spending 20 minutes there going back and forth I knew I was wasting my time, I asked the girl that when they sell cars AS IS and they have not checked the car out or they know something is wrong with the car, don't they feel bad selling a bad car to customers. Her answer was, you guessed it "NO". So here is my recommendation go check this place out, buy a car there or not but beware. After bringing them up on google I realized another mistake. BBB rating is F. I don't know why.
