On Enigma Software Group web pages the word used over and over is purchase. The confirmation page (I have a copy) says, purchase. But they are not selling a software product' (spy hunter) as the web page states. They are actually selling a subscription. Yet the word subscription never appears anywhere until the program STOPS working! Then, you are told that if you want the program to work again you have to send them MORE MONEY!

Other companies tell you right up front this is a one year subscription. For example, Norton AntiVirus, tells you right up front that you are buying a update subscription for one year. But, still, the Norton product will continue to work even if you do not re-subscribe.

First Enigma Software Group deceives you into thinking you have purchased their product. Second they take away what you have paid your money for by building in software that stops the program from working.

This is deceptive advertising, a dishonest business practice or plain old extortion.

Spyware Software!

Bob, Do a Google Search for, Free Spyware and Adware Detection & Removal Software, you will notice a link for Net Security and there is an Article by a Tony Bradley who has some great suggestions about Spyware programs. He talks about Free Programs and there are two that are very popular... If I were you, I would look for spyware programs that are very good at search and destroying and I would also keep in mind that the whole idea is to blast this stuff off of your system! You can not rely on just one program, sometimes you have to run two in order to catch everything. You have to look for a program that can detect and remove spyware of different kinds from your computer. Rather than detecting and removing spyware after the fact, look for a product that proactively protects your system to block spyware and adware from infiltrating in the first place. Free programs can be very good. They can be better than products that you pay for. They can be removed easily and the best part... no yearly fee. Good Luck
