In the "Local Flavor" magazine delivered to home addresses in the San Fernando Valley areas, an add featuring Carpet Cleaning Services that FALSELY STATES 'FAMILY OWNED & OPERATED SINCE 1989" by a "Enviro-Dry Carpet Care" IS A SCAM!! There is no said "Owner" to be found by customers.
I used this company and they sent out a guy that just did his own carpet cleaning. Had he not given me his contact number, I would have never known that this supposed "Enviro-Dry Carpet Care" was a fake business that just calls carpet cleaners on their list. After the carpet cleaning guy did my carpet in my hallway, I could tell by his work he didn't know what e was doing and the carpet he cut wrong and didn't seal any of it to the floor. After I complained he said he would return to fix it and gave me his number. Well, I had to call this FAKE "Enviro-Dry Carpet Care" and tell them he said he would come back and he didn't. Finally the guy shows up at my door days later and tried to mask up and hide the damage he had done the best he could. I told him I was not happy and all I got was a sorry and he left quickly in his car. I called back the company and told them I wanted my money back and was not happy. I wanted to speak to the owner, said they would have the owner get back to me and they lied and never got back to me regarding the supposed owner of this company that advertised "Family owned & operated since 1989". After repeatedly calling them back asking for an answer and waiting for a owner to call me, they basically started hanging up on me and then blocked me from calling them. And I was never rude to anyone on the phone. Just wanted to talk to the actual "owner" of the company or family.
Anyways, this Company is a total LIE and FRAUD in my opinion. Where is the "Proof" that this company is "Family Owned & Operated Since 1989"?? And to make matters worse, I called "Local Flavor" magazine and told them about this ad they had in their magazine and the guy on the phone just laughed. I told him he should be ashamed of himself. He said, "Man we just advertise and whoever can buy ads in our magazine". I told him "So you sponsor and advertise for false fake Companies". he basically laughed and said, "We can't check everybody we have ads for in our magazine." What the hell? This "Local Flavor should be held responsible for FALSE ADVERTISING.
