Envision Construction, LLC Janice and Todd Forsgren Todd and Janice Forsgren SCAMMED me out of $5,000.00 and did NOT complete the job! Fort Lauderdale Florida
I contacted Envision and spoke with Todd Forsgren about remodeling my kitchen and to get an estimate. Todd meets me at my home and he brings his wife, his father and someone who works with the company. I did not understand why he brought practically his whole family to discuss my project. That in itself made me feel a little uncomfortable. Right away Janice starts talking to me about how she's a school teacher and a trusted member of the community who personally knows some guy named Brett at a church etc.. she just kept rambling on sometimes incoherently and not getting to business. I literally had to politely interrupt her and tell her I would like an estimate for my kitchen that I do not have too much time.
I explain everything I wanted done which was new flooring, cabinets, and opening up the kitchen for a more open floor plan. This involved knocking one wall down to be accomplished. Keith said it was easy and gave a reasonable quote compared to others so I gave them the job. We finally agreed on a price, and time frame. They started working 4 days later with one person who could not speak any English. There was way too much work for one person. Could not reach Todd. I finally speak with him and he blatantly tells me he's at Home Depot looking for workers to do the job! UNBELIEVABLE, he doesn't even have his own crew!
The next day Todd tells me my kitchen is infested with termites and they know a person who can take care of it for 5K cash deal and that he works on the side. They told me it would normally cost 15K because it was so infested. My house is old with plenty of wood so I was inclined to believe them. I needed to meet the time frame badly because I had company coming soon so I gave them the money. They dragged their feet and I constanly kept calling both Todd and Janice and Keith because nobody was working the job doing anything.
In summary, I did NOT have a termite problem and they did NOT finish the job. I had my kitchen inspected by a reputable company and they told me in WRITING there was no termites! I confronted Todd and Janice and demanded my money back. Todd became enraged and got in my face cussing me out with alcohol on his breath, and Janice laughed at me saying "Too bad dumb f..ck". I can't believe how obtuse and ruthless these people are especially after Janice talked so much about being a Christian. All they care about is how to steal your money. They ripped me off for 5k. These people know how to swindle and are NOT to be trusted.
