Our baby is 4 month old and due to her eating more, we had to buy larger bottles. Since the small version was good, figured the larger 8 ounce ones would be as well. Turns out this isnt the case.

At first we thought maybe the nipples were different becasue our baby started choking as if she was getting too much, so tried using the older ones, and still she after a few minutes started choking again and I also noticed she had formula down her neck. Turned out, it wasnt the nipples at all but the ring cap that holds them. They have a hairline crack that causes the bottles to leak hence too much is coming out and the baby is confused and chokes.

My wife and I checked both sets and they all had this problem. The store checked and saw ones on shelf had same problem yet wouldnt take them back. I infored even flo sever times about this safety issue and being disatisified with the product and they have yet to ever get back. It seems money is more important to them then a babys safety. My wife and I have switched to another baby product who actually stands by their products. As for EvenFlo, I highly recommend staying away from them until they can prove that the baby comes first and not the buck.

ive seen several times at stores like walmart, the knock everything off the dolly, reload it, then head to the shelves. ive seen them do this with electronics. maybe the store is the cause. although evenflos breast pump does not work, but then again none of them really worked for me

I hope you didn't throw out the bottles.

Most bottles (with exception of nursers and 1 company I forget the name.) have interchangeable rings. So I hope you didn't trash the bottles rather than just buy the rings from another company. I found out the rings they have a dollar stores believe it or not are the best. (Although the bottles aren't up to par.) I would buy a set of eight rings for a dollar and just use them when the others would leak. (Or in my son's case not allow enough air in the keep the nipples from collasping every 5 seconds.) Just an idea for you. :)
