Event Ticket Sales Misleading internet web address to sell event tickets at rip off prices Omaha Nebraska
This company preys on the ignorance of internet users to charge outrageous fees for event tickets. They do this by putting the venue name in their web address so consumers think they are buying tickets from the actual venue. No matter what they say they use deceptive methods to rip off consumers.
My wife went to buy tickets fro a concert at Artpark in Lewiston, NY. When she searched for the even the first listing had the name Artpart in the URL but is was a redirect to Event Ticket Sales. After the purchase I notcied they charged my card $176 for four tickets with a face value of $48, or $12 per ticket. That is a fee of $32 per ticket.
They called 1 hour before the event to say the tickets would be waiting at Will Call, but they were not. The venue had to track down the sale and we ended up missing the opening act. The person who called would not give their name or any other details.
They can say what they want about providing a service, but they are lying. If you want tickets for an event, contact the venue directly by going to their website and either recieve the tickets through immediate download or email. DO NOT go to the even without tickets in hand.
