Everprivate Stole my information, misused my personal information, refunded me a bad check. Ripoff San Clemente California
I am taking action against this company. my account was deducted $49.95 for use of their credit card which they also go by the name secret cash card, and private date finder. All is the same company, they advertise on their website that they are not affiliated with any payday loan sites. Total lie, that's exactly how they got our information, but they don't advertise anywhere on the form. They get you when you click on the terms and conditions. Even when you cancel the application or if a pop up occurs, that's when they get you. I have filed complaints with the BBB, but they can only do so much. I have filed complaints with the Attorney Generals Office of California and Arizona, both will contact Everprivate regarding their practices. I did however receive a refund from them, only to find out that it was a fake check which they put a stop payment on it because I did not deserve a refund. Here is what they e-mailed me:

It is your mistake trying to cash the check when refund is not due. please contact your bank they will explain that you tried to cash the check when refund is not due as your bank returned the charges.
And they have the nerve to turn this around on me. I am begging those of you who have been violated, start writing to those office I mentioned and keep them informed of any e-mails from Everprivate regarding refunds. I cannot do this alone.

For all of those who have been violated by Everprivate Card you need and I mean NEED to contact the BBB, The Attorney General's Office in Sacramento and the Attorney Generals office in your state as well as the Federal Trade Commission. How this company gets your information is when you apply for a loan online, whether a pop up box appears and you close it or you check off that you are not interested in any other products or services, the company will check the yes box for you. That's what they did to me, they refuse to pay me the $49.95. The check that they sent me, they put a stop payment on it because they didn't have the funds to cover the check in their account. If they actually have an account,for all we know they could be a bunch of angry teens or adults working in a hole in the wall, not an actual company. So instead of complaining on a message board start complaining to the right offices IMMEDIATELY.
