After posting the complaint, I made another attempt to contact the company. This time someone picked up. When I explained that I had been waiting days for my tiles and that I was unable to reach anyone at the company other than Julio who was apathetic to my earlier concerns, she investigated. She told me that the reason for my not having received my tiles was that the order was entered incorrectly into the system. Somehow, my address was entered as a commercial rather than a residential address which resulted in my tiles never being processed and delivered. Apparently, this was something Julio was not aware of. However, when I questioned why Julio never informed a supervisor or the owner as I had requested, no answer was provided.
Any way, this time I was told that the item would be delivered the following day and they eventually had the tiles delivered the following day. Unfortunately, this caused so much headache and frustration. No offer was made for the error that they caused.
At the end, even though I was able to purchase my backsplash tile at the best price here, it was at the expense of lost time and bad service. My recommendation would be that if you buy from this store, I would only buy it if you are able to pick up the tile in person at the time of purchase. I would not pay for product until you have it in your possession.
