I don't know how these crooks sleep at night! After reading other peoples reviews on the BBB site, and others I now know we are not the only ones to get ripped off and sent on our way with them.

We went there looking for an suv since I  do wildlife rehab and we also have three kids. The sales person seemed to be helpful and pleasant during our purchase. We traded in a working, reliable Mercury Sable Sedan towards a Nissan Xterra. It needed an new exhaust which they put on before we brought it home. We were told it was mandatory that we needed to purchase an extended 2 year 24,000 mile warranty that had a hefty price tag. Which we found out is a lie. We were also told they did an alignment and checked out the entire truck. After getting it home we noticed the transmission was slipping and the exhaust was loud. We called them to set up and appointment and they kept rescheduling till after a month goes by and they're warranty policy was up where we could not return or get a different car.

After two months the transmission starts to make noise and we finally got an appointment to go see them. We were told we could not stay at the dealership while they were checking it over and made us walk elsewhere to get out of the weather. It was in the 20's that day, and I was pregnant. After a few hours of  hearing nothing we call them and they said we need to get our asses back there because it wasn't good. They proceeded to tell us that we had caused the wear and tear on the truck, and gave us a list of issues including the allignment which they said they don't take care of there  but told us they did when we bought it, the inside of the tires were going baled because of bad axle, skid plate was on with only two bolt, the muffler was installed wrong, no E break, a broken bearing arc, and they would have to tear down the engine to figure out the noise which would not be covered. They would not cover any of the problems and the work would cost thousands. We were a bit irate at this point since the mechanic accused us of all of the issues and was very rude. We told them we needed to discuss what we wanted to do and promptly left.

We decided to take it to Saratoga Nissan near our home after they offered to listen  to it for free. We were told it was not the engine but likely the transmission. We  called the Warranty company ourselves after we were threatened not to by Evia. They told us we could take it to any garage for warranty work. We left it off with the Nissan dealer and after doing a complete tear down of the transmission told us the bolts were not on tight and the warranty company would not cover it since it was not a faulty transmission but was caused by a mechanics error. We were told it would cost over eight thousand dollars to fix the truck. All of this went on during the Christmas Holiday and resulted in the loss of Eric's job, and our only form of transportation. Please do not do buy anything from these people!
