Express Fashion -a World Financial Bank Claimed I didn't make a payment and ruined my credit! TOTAL RIPOFF Livonia Michigan
Back in May 2009 my bank account was compromised and I didn't have a checking account. My bills are paid automatically and my Express Fashion bill lacked 2 payments w/o me noticing. As soon as I did, I paid the amount in full. I didn't hear anything else about it. I even talked to a manager after I paid to retrieve my late-fees due to the fact my bank closed my checking account, as well as hundreds of others, b/c of a compromise. They didn't help, so I decided to forget it and realized I was too good to for their business, anyway. 2 months later I got TONS of harassing phone calls from World Financial Bank. THe man on the phone explained I was late and owed them 126.00. I called him an idiot and told him I paid that MONTHS ago! Well, I looked up the info on the net after we hung up, just to make sure. AND MY PAYMENT WASN'T THERE! Even though it had been before!!! I even have a bank statement!! They don't care, and now they have ruined my credit. Also, they charge you 10.00 to use a debit card for payment on the phone and 10.00 if you want the payment to go through THAT DAY! SO if you don't have a checking accnt. and you want your payment to go through that day, YOU'RE SCREWED outa 20.00!
