Eyeglass World ripoff business from hell! Buy One pair of crappy frames ..Get One ..pair of equally crappy value, Free Las Vegas Nevada
After getting pink eye from my work, I had to throw away my new contacts and get glasses. Though I had just had a problem with Eyeglass World (I discovered when I called for a temporary lens that they had changed owners and sent my files to some other optomitrist across town, and didnt even know if they would honor the $200 three-year service agreement I had just purchased with them), they were the closest store that could get my glasses done in one hour.
The very night I got them, the screw flew out of one pair and the lens fell to the ground. I took them in for repair, and told them I wanted the frames replaced because it was obviously stripped. Even though they told me they would, they didnt. They didnt even cover the chip in the enamel that occured when they fell apart.
Over the course of the next few months, I have had problems daily with the frames falling apart. I have had to resort to super glue and duct tape to hold them together, and finally the arm fell off one pair yesterday and I am done with them. I was even late to work one day and recieved a write up because I was trying to get the lens and screw back together (I cant drive without glasses).
For the price I paid for two pieces of crap frames, I could have bought one designer pair (I could have bought one pair of Tommy's. Donna Karan, or even Armani frames for the price of these two!) and I got majorly s****.
