Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I made a payment on my mortgage with Fairbanks in June of last year during my grace period. I used the USPS bill pay to do it which keeps my records. I also had proof they cashed the check on time from my bank statement.

They sent me a deliquency notice because they did not post it until two days later. When I called to resolve the issue I was treated like a dog. I have no other way to put it. It was worse than that.

The girl I spoke with began telling me I was late several times and started rolling off dates. I told her I was never late and could prove it. She said well that would be I what I would have to do. She said she had no records of payments for me during those times and it was up to me to prove it.

I asked her for her name and she replied with it and then in a very nasty tone asked me if I wanted her to spell that in other words I was not able to understand. She spoke to me with such disrespect I hung up. I could get no where and she wouldn't listen.

My husband called another lady the next day she was the supervisor. She told him he was late on different dates than what the first girl told me. He told her we were not late ever. She hung up on him!

We felt as if we had no hope of resolving this, so I faxed them a letter and my proof and I was sent a letter that as a one time courtesy they would not charge me a late fee. I was never late and they gave me a one time courtesy???

These people need to be stopped with the abuse they hand out. They make false accusations and a person feels so helpless.

HELLO BARBARA. WE LIVE IN OHIO ALSO. WE ARE TRYING AT THIS POINT TO STOP OUR HOME FROM BEING SOLD AT SHERIFFS SALE. THIS WAS ALL DONE WITHOUT OUR KNOWING ABOUT IT. WE DON'T HEVE MUCH TIME TO GET THIS STOPPED. I TALKED TO A MINDY AT FAIRBANKS YESTERDAY SHE HAS SAID WE CAN DO A FORBARANCE PROGRAM. SAID SHE TAKE IT TO THE ATTORNEY THEN THEY WOULD SEND IT OVER NITE TO US. WE SEND IT BACK WITH SOME MONEY THEN THEY WILL STOP THE SALE. WE RE VERY LEARY OF BELIEVING THEM AFTER SEEING THE OTHER STORIES ON THE DEAL MAKING THEY DO. OUR OWN EXPERIENCE WITH THEN HAS US NOT BELIEVING IT. WE HAVE FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE OHIO ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE. PLEASE DO THE SAME. THE MORE PEOPLE THAT ARE GETTING THERE LIVES RIPPED AWAY NEED TO HAVE THERE STORIES TOLD. WE WILL SEE THE FIRST OF THE WEEK IF WE WHERE TAKEN BY THEM TO ONE MORE TIME. GOD WILLING THERE IS A END TO THIS WHOLE MESS!!!!
