If anyone wants to follow the bouncing ball if you look at the Hud web sight and find approved hud lenders type in Fairbanks. The Goverment is making a lot of noise but it's actions speak louder than it's words. Fairbanks is still approved as a Lender. Nothing on the sight states that they're being investigated and I'm getting sick of the people we voted to watch this stuff blowing smoke up my rear and not really doing anything about it. Their's a smoking gun here, and a lot more to this than we know about.

If we could just get one elected offical to come to the table and be straight about it we might be able to understand why they let this go on. June is officaly Home ownership month. The Predatory Lenders Liberation Army Declares July as Stop Hud Approved Lenders From Stealing Month.

I agree with the above statements, when did this become the 'land of the Corporate Giants and the home of the scammers'? We need to use the privelege we have to put some consumer advocates in our House and Senate and elect a president who wasn't born with a silver spoon in his mouth. The agenda of the Republican party seems be to remove the middle class and return to the 'old days' of those who have, and those who have not. Every effort that was made by this country to make home ownership and create a feeling of security for the average citizen is systematicly being replaced with barriers for anyone who isn't a corporation or who pays anything in more than 30 days (per the credit bureau). All of us who visit this site know just who supplies and how the credit bureau gets it's information. This country needs reform on the behalf of consumers--not on behalf of big business. There seems to be enough of us here at this site and others to create our own lobbing platform...perhaps we need to form a national group.. Amie PS- Am I the only homeowner in Virginia who landed in Fairbank's lap??? If you live in Virginia please respond--we desperately need to band together. I've contacted our Senators repeatedly and received no response to date.

(((If we could just get one elected offical to come to the table and be straight about it we might be able to understand why they let this go on.))) This was reported on TheWBALChannel.com : Public records indicate the plane may not always have been used for the business of Fairbanks. Flight data shows it was used to fly to an airport in California, close to a Pebble Beach home owned by Basmajian, Miller said. A Fairbanks spokesperson confirmed the company tried to cancel the corporate jet lease at the time that Basmajian was removed and new management took over. But the company will make no additional comment about the jet and will not answer whether it was a perk that included personal use by its former CEO, Miller reported. The jet is OWNED by a prominent developer in UTAH who is now an AMBASSADOR IN THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION. Now take that into consideration along with Basmajian and his wifes Bush campaign contributions....you just might find the answer to your question.
