My husband and I got ripped-off by Fairfield Resorts timeshares while vacationing in Orlando. A few days after getting home from our trip, we decided to check out our paperwork that we received from Fairfield. We found all kinds of things that we were lied to about by the salesman, including making us believe that we had a lot more "time" than we actually have. We also noticed that we did not receive a copy of a paper that we remember signing or initialing. It was a list of all the paperwork that we were supposed to recieve. I believe it had "receipt" in the title.

If anyone that has signed up with Fairfield can tell me the title of that paper, it would be very helpful. We contacted our Fairfield "agent" to ask for the paper. He claims that he can't help us, but will pass the email along to someone who can.

The reason that you did not get all of your paperwork is because they don't want you to know that you have 10 days ( when buying florida property to cancel). So to avoid this they deliberately leave out important documents, especially the one that talks about recission. Fairfield is one of the worst timeshare companies. If you want to purchase go to Ebay and buy from the secondary market. You will save 80% of what you paid to FF originally. I would suggest calling their corporate # and ask for their legal department.Or else ask for the CEO Franz Hanning. You will speak to his assistant who I'm sure will let you out of your contract. Their number is 407- 370-5200. I would tell them they you were lied to, as well as them deliberately witholding pertinent documents. That you are exercising your right to cancel because of deceptive, and fradulent practices. Also let them know that if they do not cancel this contract without penalty you will call their parent companies corporate office. Cendant. Fairfield sales people are taught to say and do anything to get ( and keep a sale) Hang tough they don't want you going to the media.Don't believe the salesman he is just trying to protect his commision.
