I live a significant distance over 5 hrs roundtrip.

I had lots of questions, he assured me we would be happy.

As for staying overtime or late, not at all, he closes at 5pm and said I had to be there by 4pm as he would not prep addl units unless we were actually there. we got there about 430 due to work and LA traffic. NO ONE WAS ON OVERTIME STORE WAS OPEN FOR BUSINESS AS NORMAL.

As for A deposit, I offered a deposit repeatedly over the phone to hold them and get them ready for me, perhaps he did not want to take a deposit because he did not want any chargebacks from the credit card company for misrepresentation.

As for my size? im 5' 9" at 179 lbs and wear a 9.5 shoe, I could not get my foot on the pegrest area without turning them 45 degrees off the platform as it is DESIGNED for kids, even my 17 yr old couldnt put his feet on them.

please go google on creaigslis his phone number and if your local please go there and see what it is he is selling, crap from china, poorly assembled and manufactured, look at the fit and finish of the plastic, his technician was using a mallet to hammer to make pieces fit.

The intent of this rebuttal is to solely clarify and address some remarks that George brought up.  

George found our ad during the Christmas season and contacted me regarding the quads for his kids.  He called numerous times, and I was courteous and tried to address any questions he had had and to describe the quads as best as possible.  George knew that he wanted the quads and was adamant that he wanted these quads and repeatedly insisted to pay for them over the phone without having seen them in person.  I offered to save 2 quads for his kids, with no deposit, and we arranged for a time that he would be coming by.  Considering that he was coming from a far distance, he let us know that he would be arriving after our business hours.  I offered to wait for his arrival and kept the staff on overtime until he arrived along with the 2 quads he had requested.  

When he arrived, I showed him and his family into the showroom and invited his kids to sit on the quads.  The 2 boys were smiling from ear to ear and even his wife was happy and smiling after seeing the quads.  George on the other hand seemed pensive.  He sat on the quads and fit well on them for his size.  I asked him which colors he wanted for his kids, at which point he divulged that the quads would also be for him and his 4 children.

As the ad clearly states, the quads are not quiet full size and are recommended for teenagers.  At $750, these quads have a surprising seat height of nearly 30".  Unfortunately, we do not carry adult quads at the $750 range, although these quads are rather big, with 8" tires.

In any case, George said that he would have to talk it over with his family who was still confused as to why they weren't taking the quads home.  A few minutes later, George came back and was very irate.  I tried to calm him down and said that at least he hadn't already paid for the quads before he came.

I can only attribute this unfortunate event to a misunderstanding, as we are not in the business of staying open after hours just to have a customer drive a long distance and not find what they are looking for.

Farhan Enterprises does not rip anyone off.  In fact, we value our reputation and resent these accusations.  We look forward to making people, especially kids, happy during the Christmas season.
