An 87 year old woman with severe dementia was told via a FAST AC telemarketer that a FAST AC technician was in the area and would stop by to inspect her AC unit.  Not knowinbg any better, she let the tech in her home and he began to inspect her AC unit.  The woman has a service company with a reputable AC company in the Venice area.  Fortunately a younger family member arrived at the house and informed the FAST AC emplyoyee that the AC was under contract with a local company.

The FAST AC was asked to leave and he then demanded payment for the  "work" he had completed.  After being told he would not receive payment for his actions, he then flew into a tirade calling the female family member a "bi*ch."   When he was asked for his name and identification, he responded with the child-like answer that his name was "Joe Blow."  Only after threatening to call 911 did the FAST AC technician leave the home.  After hearing of this incident, I called the FAST AC office in Ft. Myers.

LIE #1  I was informed that FAST AC had called the 87 year old lady and set an appt.  After review of all caller id's for the past 30 days, there were no such calls.

LIE #2  The office manager informed me that FAST AC had purchased the customer base from Custom Climate Control for the Venice, Lee County markets.  I then call Custom Climate Control to confirm such a purchase had taken place.  I was informed that such a purchase had taken place but a  3 year non compete was issued for Manatee County.  FAST AC was incorportated in 2016. Custom Climate control has no record of the above address.

LIE #3  FAST AC did a drive by last year and was told to never stop by this home again.

LIE #4  Before the technician left he stated he had not done any work to the unit.  After leaving, the unit was not running and the service technicians from the contractred AC service company were called only to discover that the UV light sensor was ripped out and the thermostate was removed.

It is my interpretation after reading several reviews regarding this company is that they prey on the elderly in weathly areas, knocking on doors, falsifying work orders, then intimidate homeowners for payment.
