Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
This company installed a Kenne Bell supercharger on our 2001 Ford Mustang Cobra in September 2008. 2 weeks after that, the engine blew. They said it had something to do with the oil pan and it wasn't their fault and didn't have anything to do with their previous work. They said they would have to rebuild the engine and their estimation was $5300. This typically would only take a few weeks.

My boyfriend went by the shop a few times, the car was just sitting there untouched, eventually he paid the $5300 up front (by mid November) and went by every couple weeks and the engine was in the engine shop, then something else. Basically excuse after excuse why the car wasn't done. After a couple months I started calling and emailing, they wouldn't return my calls or emails, they would only talk to my boyfriend when he went by there, even though we both own the vehicle.

Finally he started going by the shop every other day to every day. This has been since December. They finally returned the car today (Feb. 10, 2009) after they have had it since the beginning of October 2008. 4 mos. for an engine rebuild????

The problem is now that the warranty is thru them, so if anything goes wrong, we have to take it back to them, but that is NOT going to happen. Don't take your car to this place and don't prepay for anything!!!! And don't let them sit on it!!!!!

The individual who posted this report did not post the facts as they actually occurred. What she fails to mention is that she was never actually a customer of the business and her "boyfriend" is the one who actually brought the vehicle for the work to be done. She never paid a bill to Fast and Furious, nor has she ever been to the shop to our knowledge. Beyond these issues, this individual has misstated numerous additional facts in her complaint. The $5,300.00 she is referring to was not paid in full until at least two months after the start of the project, which delayed the work. The project for this vehicle was to build a race engine, not simply to rebuild an engine, which is a much more complex and time-consuming matter. Additionally, on several occasions, the "boyfriend" changed the scope of work for the project, which in turn, increased the amount of time required to complete it. Fast and Furious was in regular communication with her "boyfriend" regarding the vehicle and it is unclear to us why this individual is concerned or involved with this issue. Perhaps she should have communicated with her "boyfriend" better instead of posting a false report on this website.
