Federal Pacific Credit Company trying to rip me off on a fifteen year debt that was already paid Salt Lake City Utah
This company is a ripoff. My old bill was paid years ago. I am going to ignore them and if they persist I will contact my lawyer. I recently checked my credit report and they put negetive remarks on my report. I quickly contested it with the credit report company and they removed it.
Today I received a letter in the mail saying I owed a lot of money and they will try and collect it. This is crap. I believe if this was a legetiment company they would of left it on my credit report. When they took it off I went ahead and bought a brand new car with no peoblem.

I have hired a lawyer and gave him the proof and recepts that this bill is paid. He is sending them a letter and said we will fight this in court. He also said that he will try and recover my atty fees.

You need to do something about it... they can obtain a judgement and garnish your wages if you just let it go. Go to budhibbs.com, there's lots of info there on how to write a letter to them demanding they verify the debt AND make sure they don't bother you again.
