I do believe the Mob rules.

Looks like the Thieves and Mobsters of the 1920s, to the 1980s may now be in charge of the banking system!

I do believe they may NOW have controlling interest in the Banks!!

Here is an example of my last encounter yesterday at Fifth-Third Bank in Cincinnati Ohio.

My wife owns a small business it is a gift shop.

I noticed two over-draft fees and a service-charge on my wife's Totally-Free checking account with Fifth-Third-Bank. LOL (I love this term they use: "Totally-Free")

Here is how the Fifth-Third Scam works!

First always remember, they use "your money" and only give you about 3% on your return!

My wife had about $36.00 in her small business checking account, she got an $ .18 withdraw fee on her account for a credit card machine she owns, then later on in the day she got the standard $46.00 fee for the use of the machine processing account.

Now as good honest logical and legal banking would go, you would say ok, $36.00 - $ .18 would = $35.82 and then you would say $35.82 - $46.00 would put her in an over draft status of -$10.18 correct?

Then if you add Fifth-Thirds wonderful overdraft fee of about -$33.00 that would put her in the negative status of -$43.18, ok I could deal with that, but here is what they did to increase their so-called creative-profit-margin, a fancy name for modern-theft.

They took the larger amount of $46.00 even though it came in last, and took it out of the account first, thus causing not one overdraft but two. So instead of owing them $33.00 in over draft fees she then owed them $66.00.

I was able to beat them on the $6.00 a day fee because I caught it so soon.

Now I ask you, is this creative banking at its worst or what?

When I ask the branch manager about this illegal scam, she told me that this was common practice and policy for the bank to take the larger amount out first knowing that it would add into more over-draft charges, and when the employs and her, ask the upper-management, while in staff meetings about this strange practice with peoples money. They got no answer, from their upper-management!

And I am sure if they would have pushed the issue on the behalf of their client's money and their personal money, they would be looking for a new job real soon.

This is my question: I wonder how many of our wonderful Politicians "on all sides of the fence" get their Bribes. OH, I am sorry :-( I am bad. I mean, Political-Contributions from the banks??

Could this be why nothing is being done to stop the banks from their illegal action? And shouldn't they be made to return the funds back to the people it belongs to, with a penalty charged to them, for punitive damages on behalf of the people?

The people it truly belongs to, are the hard working AMERICAN PEOPLE that have earned it honestly, not the dirty Politicians or their political-bed-fellows and thieves that they serve?

I got the second overdraft-fee taken off and I also got the ("Service Charge" on the "Totally-Free") account removed because of my understanding of the facts of their Dirty-Practices.
