I recently bought a Mercedes C280 on June 22, 2007. My father traveled from Atlanta, Georgia, my state of residence, to Fort Lauderdale, Florida to pick up the car. However, once he drove the vehicle about 100 miles, the transmission was not reversing nor were the rear windows functioning properly. The ad placed on Ebay by FineCarsUSA specifically stated that the car was in perfect condition, and if the car was not to satisfaction, then they would reimburse the total amount of the car and the airfare as well.
Moreover, right before the test drive, the dealer David stated that everything was in perfect condition. My father test drove the car with a man named Marty who then replied that my father was not allowed to bring the car back even after reporting of its problems. Marty and David, both own Fine Car USA , had a man named Mike, a mechanic, call my father. Mike stated that my father would have to pay for the parts and labor for the transmission and window. At this point in time, no one responded at the dealership nor will they reimburse for my money and expenses incurred. In fact, the dealership stated, "Don't come back"-Marty and David.
My father (70 yrs old) was greatly distressed and had no means of transportation. At this point, I wasn't concerned about the $5,200 I lost but wanted to get my father back ASAP. The dealership's number is 954-641-0100. Hope this incident helps from avoiding cheap dealerships like Fine Car USA.

With all the problems of buying used cars....Why in the he-- would you want to buy one SIGHT UNSEEN on E-Bay. Now, you're so upset. You just can't understand how this can happen. BOO h*o. You threw common sense out the window. Now, reap the benefits! Buying a car, SIGHT UNSEENN over the internet is nothing more than just plain stupid!

It is unfortunate what happened to this person and even more unfortunate that satisfied customers never take the time to fill out reviews like this when they are satisfied. I worked for David and Moe a while back and I personally know they are good people, although used car business is not perfect they do pride themselves on having clean cars. They post lots of pictures of each vehicle and very detailed ones at that, I know I used to take them. Unfortunatley these are not new cars and people want to low ball them all the time. I am sure this person is upset and might even have some reason known only to him. Fact is these are not bad people, if they were there would be alot more negative reviews as they sell over a 100 cars a month.
