Fingerhut ripoff false report to credit agency St Cloud Minnesota
Three months ago we ordered a bar and bar stools from fingerhut. We were sent the stools and bar but the glass front of the bar was shattered. we called and they sent another one that was also shattered. We called again and they sent a third that was also shattered. We called again and they said they could send another or give us credit. If we chose the credit we would be responsible for the return of all three broken pieces as well as the matching stools. A total weight of over 236 pounds. In the mean time, we were sent our monthly bills (three months) that we told them we were not going to pay until we had a satisfactory bar set. They added late charges to the bills and they reported us to the credit bureau! we cannot afford to return these pieces for them to dispose of, we cannot get this report off of our credit rating and now we are stuck! Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thank you.
