On 4/27/18 I visited First American Title Lending to take a title loan on my 2012 Cadillac CTS to help retain an attorney regarding a legal matter of Child neglect. I was able to obtain the loan from First American; after being denied by other pawnbrokers. I am a veteran with liver cancer who at times lose his thoughts and memories and during the time that I was at First American Title and with all the pressure, the pain that I was in, I was rushed into this contract because First American knew the reason for me borrowing the money and they placed incorrect information in my file to claim they could not contact me. I was late with one payment of 921.00 and 10 days later, my car was repossessed and First American Title threatened me with either I pay the balance in full $13,124.77 lose my car on 30th July at 5 pm. The company refuses to work with me has disregarded my physical and mental health conditions as being nothing. My life savings went into this vehicle ($53,000) and I have the sales slip to prove this and losing my car would be like losing my life.

So let's see...you needed money to pay for an attorney on a "matter of Child Neglect."  That's a great start.  I'm already pulling for you.

You got a loan from First American after being denied by "other pawnbrokers."  So you have zero credit.  A child, but zero credit.  Keep it coming.

You play the veteran card along with liver cancer and basically tell us that you should not be held responsible for any contracts you sign because you lose your memory sometimes.  If this is true, you need to have your power of attorney taken from you before you victimize anyone else who might be willing to lend you money.  You don't get to make your problems other people's problems, sorry.

I don't think there's any point in covering the rest of your ridiculous, whiny screed.  Your creditor refused to take into account that you're sick and have mental issues and instead heartlessly expected you to pay back the money you owed how evil of them.  And you're a veteran, too, which means that you should be allowed to borrow money and pay it back whenever because Semper Fi, right?  The punchline is that you tell us that you put your ENTIRE SAVINGS into a car - $53,000-- but didn't use maybe HALF that money to buy one outright??? Seriously, WTF???

"Losing this car would be like losing my life."  So, how did this turn out?  I have to admit I'm curious.  I really hope that some relative stepped in and convinced you to sign those power of attorney papers.  You state right out that you should not be signing contracts in your condition.  I feel sorry for you, but I feel more sorry for anyone who loans you money and expects to be repaid.
