First Capital Consumer's Group BIG FAT RIPOFF!! dirty SOB's dishonest evil Buffalo New York
OK-I fell for it, and they got $199 of mine.
That being said, I have contacted [email protected] because they claim to be able to help. Gosh I hope so. These people called me and said they could get me a credit card for $199 to help rebuild my credit.
Before anybody pounces on that, yes, some of it was bad choices/bad judgment, but much of it was due to health issues (major surgery, not able to work for a few years, etc..), and although I was making an effort to pay, because I wasn't making their minimum payments, I was reported to credit bureaus. Now....bad credit.
I accepted (like a fool), and was told I'd receive a packet in the mail to sign, then would receive the credit cards promised. I never recieved the packet, so I called and was told they'd be sent out again (after verifying my address).
This happened at least 4 times. I finally asked for a refund, and Natasha, Tomo, and Tom all three assisted me with this...three different times. Obviously, after three different calls to get a refund, it wasn't going to happen.
Hoping hoping hoping that the "bad business bureau" will be able to help me get my money back. Yes it's alot, but it's not even the point now. I want them to take a hit where it hurts...in the pocketbook!!!
I've learned my lesson. I'll investigate before I EVER do this again! I got lucky and found one that, although there's a charge and service fees, they've been very honest with me, and I never have a hard time reaching them.
They have a pretty standard interest rate, and were more than happy to answer ALL of my questions. I received the card quickly, and I never received any late fees or anything like the other horror stories I've heard because of this type of credit card.
I'm rebuilding my credit because of them. Thanks Plains Commerce Bank! Wish you were cheaper in the beginning, but thanks for getting me headed in the right direction!
