this company advertises being a good card for a new business, but don't be fooled. they start off at a low credit limit of 2000.00 and charge 23.99% interest. my piticular business requires that much in a week much less a month.

so i was forced to make payments each week to keep my credit avalible. the first week they cut my credit off at 1000.00 instead of my limit of 2000.00 and the next week they cut off my remaining credit while my payment processed.

i canceled this card and will use a debit card for all purchases from my business account, just to avoid the embarressment of being declined, which happened three times when their was plenty of credit remaining. this company's claims of being benificial to a business are completely false and should be avoided.

I Just Filed A Complaint Here Involving First Equity... You're In The Same Boat As Myself Martin... They Pulled A Big Spin Move On You, Hooked You At A Low Rate And Nailed You When You Used The Card.. (Read My Complaint, First Equity Card Corp. False Advertisement And Embezzlement)... Tom, You're Completely Wrong In Your Assessment... I Too Had A $2,000.00 Limit That They FULLY HONORED On The Balance Transfer On The First Shot.... None Of This Half The Balance, ETC. ECT... This Company Is Blatantly Breaking The Business Code Of Ethics, False Advertising And Embezzling Consumers Out Of A Lot Of Money.. They As Much As Dared Me To Sue Or File Complaints... The Shame Of It All Is Their Almost Right In The Fact That So Many People Just Sit There And Take It, Aren't Aware Of Their Rights, Or Really Have No Idea Of How To Fight Back... It All Rolls Down Hill So To Speak.. By Complaining To State Or GOV. Officials, And The Agencies That Are Suppose To Regulate These Fraudulent Companies, You'll Shake The Trees Enough That A Solution May Be Remedied.. It Only Costs Ya A Couple Stamps... Here's Hoping Your Letters Find Their Way With Mine Across Those Desks.....

the card from this company was paid in full on both occasions because we needed the credit to be avalible the whole idea was to build up corparate credit. my personal credit is fine. tom you might try getting a clue before attacking someone you don't know. their are several other reports of similar complaints. go back to shoveling. first equity card falsely advertses their service.

Well I too have a First Equity card & see what your problem is. First, they only give you HALF the available credit until you make your first payment. This is to prtect them as well as you. How would you like it if someone ran up a $2000.00 bill & then never paid a dime on it. Second, if you use $2000.00 per week, you shouldnt be doing it on a CREDIT CARD. Ever hear of a thing called CASH FLOW. Credit Cards in business should be used for emergency needs & PAID IN FULL each month. I know I pay them $500.00 each month and keep a very low balance. Sounds like you are in a HIGH RISK business or a scammer or such. You need to pay with CASH or DEBITS !!!!
