First National Credit-Almost got me too!
I was recently sent a pre-approved credit card for 15,000...with a bad credit history. I was lured, as were others, with the chance to consolidate other bills at a lower interest rate.
But, then I thought..."well, let me call and talk to a rep first and get more information on balance transfers" Good thing!!!
There was NO phone number on the pre-approval...Hmmm..."Doesn't a respectable credit card company have a 1-800 #????
So, I looked online for their company and found a site, www.fncc.com They had a # 605-782-3448. I called it and got an answering machine saying " Our business hours are 8a-9p central time m-f. Please call back within business hours.....IT WAS WITHIN BUSINESS HOURS...12:30 Monday!!!
Then I stumbled upon this site while trying to do more research on them....I am thankful and sooo releived that I found this site and that other people took the time to tell their stories.
I live in Biloxi, Mississippi...Should I contact my attorney general????
