I received an "Urgent - Approved" credit card in the mail. It had a credit card attached with the usual "please call this number to activate" on it.

As I read the information, I noticed a lot of information that didn't make sense. It was supposed to be a credit card for a maximum of $6,500.00 unsecured credit line from the MerchantCard Division of CCA.

Then it states that it is not a general credit card and is authorized for CCA catalog purchases. There is also a cash on-demand feature.

When I continued to read on, there is a $99 annual fee, but in the body of the letter they talk about the other "fees" associated with accepting this card. There are numerous "$49.99" fees, and it stated the one time membership fee is $199.00. The annual fee is $99.00 and rush processing is $19.99.

By this time, I knew something was wrong. I went online to search for answers, and found this report. Thanks for confirming what I knew all along.....this is a SCAM!
