I have received at least one or two calls every day for several months from this collection company. I have repeatedly told them that these charges are fraudulent (every time I "accidentally" pick up the phone) and repeatedly ask them to provide me with written proof from the original "creditor". They have yet to provide me any written proof or an accounting of my monthly service and payments to Cingular/AT&T.

Sometimes they say they are calling for a Cingular bill that was unpaid from 2005. Sometimes they say it is an AT&T bill from the same period. I cancelled my service with AT&T/Cingular (they merged into ONE big ripoff) a few years ago.

The $79.99 monthly contract I signed up for turned out to be $150.00 a month and more sometimes. This was with "rollover minutes in excess of 10,000 after years long service with them. I stayed with them for a few years however. Finally fed up with them, I cancelled well after my original contract period was up and started receiving collection notices that started saying I owed $189.00...and eventually going to over $300.00 and still climbing.

The collection callers from First Revenue Assurance are verbally abusive, berating, patronizing and just plain mean. They talk right over you when you try to speak with them and then belittle you by telling you what a terrible person you are for not paying your bills.

I am shocked that large corporations are using such unprofessional and lawbreaking companies like First Revenue Assurance to handle their "collections".
