I met Ken on Match.com. He portrays himself as an attorney who moved to Tampa 5 months ago from Arizona. He suggested we meet at Fitness One, his friend, Jake Williams gym. While we were on the phone, he had me talk to Jake. Ken's sister had had such success with Jake, that he figured I would enjoy working out with him as well. So, we made a date to meet while I did my initial evaluation with Jake and get started.
When I got to the gym, Jake met me at the door and told me Ken wasn't going to make it because he made plans with another lady that he knew would be a sure thing for sex that night. I figured, oh well, his loss. I decided to hear Jake's speil on his workout plan.
He measured me, weighed me, then gave me the run down on the diet plans. Then he asked me from $0 to $3000 what I would pay in one lump sum. I thought he was crazy! I couldn't pay that much, I'm newly divorced and on a nurse's salary in a new apartment. Then he offered "the deal." He would let me pay him $1850 now and he would give me a back rub at his place. I was so flustered and discombobulated and feeling so pressured that I just handed over the check so I could get the hell out of there!
I got home and sent an email to Ken on Match.com and told him he had no balls to not even call me to tell me he wasn't showing, but could call his buddy and tell him. And right after I sent it...Jake called. I didn't answer, but I sure put two and two together real quick - theyare freaking tag teaming - Sick mothers, for fun, sex, whatever they are getting off on it - I stopped payment on that check as fast as I could.
And don't you know, as soon as Jake found out he told me to never contact him again - yeah, don't you worry about it, buddy.
Ladies, be careful, these guys are predators, they are all over the internet!

so, he is now running "get fit" aka "fitness one" on Dale Mabry and "club tone" on Linebaugh. Of course, this is alleged at this time but hopefully other victims will see this and come forward. He needs to be stopped!

Sorry if I offended you, but I was just pissed off that this person comes on here with false allegations. There was no lewd or lascivious action identified in her post. She was being mailicious.
And, I have checked out match.com and can tell you from first hand experience that about 90% are fat and have issues. Sorry if thats offensive, but it is true.
Sometimes thr truth hurts, and I have never been accused of being politically correct.

Steve... I usually agree with your posts and rebuttals, but I'm afraid that I havetodisagree with your reply. The OP is just warning potential victims to be aware of these two individuals, and their modus operandi. I don't know what the OP's weight has to do with her report. It was naive on her part to write that man a check, especially if she felt pressured and uncomfortable, but, again, I fail to seewhythe OP's potential weight/size has anything to do with her report... You're assuming that she's 100 pounds overweight, and that she's one of the many "fat chicks" on match.com. That's not even relevant. It's difficult enough to find a companion, date, whatever, in life... Please don'tbe one of those people that automatically assume that women who are looking for a potential mate on line are fat, unattractive losers that don't have a "shot" in "the real world." Please be more enlightened in your attitude. Thank you.

It appears that these guys are just preying on nthe abundance of fat chicks on match.com to promote their business.
That's smart! Good for them!
You are pissed because you now know he was never actually interested in you.
Maybe you should lose 100 pounds and things would change for you.
But posting here that someone engaged in lewd acts is just crazy. What lewd act, exactly? You never mentioned any details on that.
