Flexi Comprass resells Wal-Mart's electronics. They almost instantly double the price of the product even if you were to pay it off early. They prey on people that do not have good credit or the cash to afford to buy these items. I was in Wal-Mart buying a tablet PC and talked to a nice asscoiate named Ricky. He talked me into filling out an application for a specific television. I do have a great job and get paid pretty well. The holidays left me a little short if you know what I mean. So that is why I decided to take a chance with this company. I filled out the long application (Felt like I was trying to buy a car which I just did at $45,00). The associate Ricky called me the next day and said everything was verified and all he needed was December's bank statement showing my direct deposits of my company. I was busy during the week and could not make it down there, so I called on a Saturday and talked to an associate named Rene Gracia. He said he would look up the application and call me right back. So he did from a private number and I answered. He started interrogating me about my employment! He was telling me that I did not make the income stated. I told him that I have as many months of direct deposit statements showing that I make over $6,000 per month. He told me that he did not even want to see them and denied me service! I was appalled! I have never been treated so poorly!

I did some research on this company and Flexi Comprass just lost their contract with Best Buy (No wonder). I called the customer service line and filed a formal complaint on the associate. It turns out that he is the District Manager! Unbelievable! So now I have to talk to his boss Gene Moll (Regional Manager). I also called the Wal-Mart General manager and told him how these Flexi Compras people are treating his valued customers. I then called Wal-Mart corporate and told them how this Flexi Compras company is treating it's valued customers and giving Wal-Mart a bad name. They are taking this very seriously and hopefully will cancel their contract with them as well. Then taking the advice of one of the customer service associates at Flexi Compras corporate, I decided to call another location and see if maybe they would be nicer. I spoke to an associate named Richard at the Flexi Comprass located in the Foothills mall Wal-Mart. He called the Valencia location and then was supposed to call me back in 5-10 minutes. Well after about an hour I decided to call back. He started laughing at me and told me that they could not do business with me! I could not believe it! Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me I guess. I gave them a second chance to make it right and they failed miserably. These people are horrible. They prey on you and charge you double. Only if they want to. They select who they want to be approved only if they like you I guess. I am a white guy who drives a nice car and lives in a desirable zip code, so I guess I do not qualify. I would HIGHLY recommend that you do NOT do business with these people. Save your money and buy the product when you can afford it. Overall I am happy this happened to me so I did not lose a lot of money and it gave me the opportunity to warn all of you people out there.

This is an addendum to the original report. The District Manager's name is Rene Gracia. He is the District Manager and refused service under prejudice when I was FULLY over qualified. Thank you.
